How to Make Fonio

Wash 1/2 a cup of Fonio in cold water until the water is clear and not cloudy.

(makes 2 cups) In a pot with a fitted lid, coat the ½ cup Sheapureness fonio well with 1 teaspoon oil.

Turn your cooker on to high, add 1 cup water to the cooking pot and bring to a boil.

Add a pinch of salt to the water or brouliion, herbs and spices you choose or you can have it plain and stir.

Cover and turn to low heat for one minute.

Turn off the cooker , keep covered and let rest 4 minutes. Fluff with a fork, serve hot or cold + enjoy!
